Elgin

The event room on the first floor at Elgin has tons of character, with features including exposed brickwork, wood panelling, large windows for a bright and airy feel, and rustic style furniture. For a seated meal, there is space for up to 80 guests, though the maximum capacity allows for more than 200 if you were to also make use of the main bar area. Found just 10 minutes from Oxford Circus, the nearest tube station – Maida Vale – is within stumbling distance.

Thankfully, it does so with ease, courtesy of the lavish styling and contemporary flair throughout. As for getting there, Fulham Broadway and South Kensington are amongst the nearest rail links.

The Royal Hospital Chelsea

Also found in the fashionable area of Chelsea, The Royal Hospital offers stunning views onto the Thames, sure to impress Local Londoners and those visiting the city for the first time alike. Comprised of Grade I and Grade II listed buildings there is a plethora of beautiful ornate details and period features which would add an instant sense of grandeur to the occasion. Outside, equally elegant courtyards provide additional space that would be ideal for a summer wedding.

Ognisko

Ognisko is a splendid Victorian building situated in Knightsbridge, 15 minutes from the area’s namesake tube station and just 8 from South Kensington. From the moment you arrive through the grand entrance you know this is a venue where quality is first and foremost, with other highlights including vast floor to ceiling windows, a sweeping staircase and the fabulous ballroom. Critically acclaimed cuisine is also on offer, with menus able to be tailored to suit individual needs.

Beach Blanket Babylon

Notting Hill Gate is the nearest tube stop, being reachable in just 7 minutes on foot.
