Interesting London venues for photo shoots
Reading Time: 2 minutes

Below you will find a selection of some of London’s more interesting venues that lend themselves well to a photo shoot, be it for private or corporate purposes. So, take a look and see what catches your eye.

Rye London

Rye London is an industrial daylight studio which has been designed using Nordic influences and a minimalist approach, meaning it is both contemporary and neutral enough to be used for a wide range of events and styles. The kitchen area means you can easily organise catering for the crew and models if you so wish, whilst the close proximity to Dalston Kingsland and Dalston Junction means it should be easy to reach from throughout the length and breadth of the city.

The Roost

Bold patterned wallpapers, corrugated iron panels, vintage furniture and quirky props fill the spaces at The Roost, meaning there is something interesting awaiting every glance. The building itself is a 4-floor Victorian pub that dates back to 1863, with many of its original period features still intact to this day, including large windows and big fireplaces, which also serve to bring natural light and a homely feel to the venue respectively. Handy extra spaces include a planted garden, a commercial kitchen and a large basement.

The Depository

the depository

Even if you’ve never been to The Depository, you will no doubt recognise it, as it became famous as the filming location for the popular business show, Dragons Den. This 6,500-square-foot industrial warehouse boasts 4 floors of space in all, with textured walls, polished oak floorboards, good natural lighting and an overall sense of decaying, raw chic that is very much on trend right now. Found in Stoke Newington, the nearest rail link can be reached in just 2 minutes.

Warner Yard

warner yard

Warner Yard’s main space boasts a 6-metre high vaulted ceiling which follows the original profile of the viaduct arch above. The venue has a number of period features that would bring additional character and charm to your photo shoot, including exposed concrete flooring and brickwork, which hark back to the city’s engineering and architectural past. Centrally located in Clerkenwell, the nearest rail links include Chancery Lane, Farringdon and Holborn.
