Originally built in the 19th century, it was first used as a secure and bonded warehouse, where New Word tobacco was stored. Since then it’s been refurbished and restored to its current grandeur. It features massive marbled floor to ceiling columns, flanking the marble and wrought iron of its split staircases, which lead to the upper reaches of the facility. Old Billingsgate

Old Billingsgate is comprised of several different areas which can either be hired individually or combined to make one enormous venue with a maximum capacity of 2400. Spaces on offer include a suspended steel mezzanine level, a gallery and a large vault space. With features found throughout including triple-height ceilings, towering pillars, interlinked arches and exposed brickwork, this is an atmospheric venue that despite being highly adaptable in its use, is brimming with character.
