The best small exhibition venues in London
Reading Time: 3 minutes

When you’ve prepared an exhibition of any sort, finding the right venue to host it is crucial, as you want to showcase your work, skills or performance in an effective way without any distractions from the actual content.

Woolff Gallery

Wolff Gallery

The Woolff Gallery is an event space in Fitzrovia that is split across 2 floors. The subtle white walled finish makes this venue an excellent choice for modern exhibitions, with those held in the ground floor space enjoying the plentiful amounts of natural light that are let in courtesy of the large street-level windows, providing a fresh, spacious feel for guests to enjoy the works on display in all their uninterrupted glory. There is additional event space found on the basement level, adding up to enough room for a total capacity of 170. There are also 3 tube stations all within a 10 minute walk.

Space W10

Space W10 is found right at the heart of several of London’s most popular creative hotpots, making it ideally situated for an exhibition. The interior is largely minimal with a contemporary and adaptable look but includes striking pillars throughout to bring a touch of uniqueness and visual intrigue to proceedings. With room for up to 200 guests per event and no less than 4 Underground stations and an Overground station all no more than 18 minutes away on foot, getting there is one concern that needn’t worry you if you decide to hold your exhibition here.

Coate Studios

coate studios

Coate studios is a tastefully handled loft conversion just off Hackney Road that has become a wonderfully diverse event space. Here you will find another understated, airy and simple interior that can make for the ideal exhibition backdrop, but the modern vibe is wonderfully contrasted by the touch of charisma from the beautiful retained wooden beams that give the space that extra welcoming edge over many other contemporary venues. There is a decent capacity of 110, and once again this venue is not lacking when it comes to transport links, with Cambridge Heath being your nearest option, just 7 minutes away.

The Arch Collective

The Arch Collective

Found in South London, The Arch Collective is another great choice certainly worth your consideration. Stylish, modern, light and airy, it lends itself perfectly to an exhibition, while the 70 person capacity keeps things feeling intimate, allowing your guests the space and time to appreciate and enjoy your display fully rather than feeling crammed in. There is also an outdoor space available, topped off with artificial grass, all weather furniture and even BBQ facilities; a wonderful little extra if you want to hold a small reception for your guests alongside your exhibition.
