Electrowerkz: A converted 19th Century Victorian Factory
Reading Time: 3 minutes

Sometimes, bookings are a lot like London busses. You wait a while for one to come along, maybe start questioning if one even will come along, only for x2 big juicy red busses to appear out of nowhere. Perhaps not my smoothest analogy but you get the point.

Gigantic well done to Electrowerkz and our man Scott Jordan for winning August’s CANVersion award. For the 500 person Christmas party? Or the swanky Fashion Show? Who cares eh! Not me, that’s for damn sure.
Just a short bop away from Angel Station, it’s in one of the buzziest and coolest parts on London. Weighing in at 30,000 square feet, over 3 floors and boasting 6 event spaces, it’s an absolute behemoth.

The Werkz is a converted 19th-century Victorian factory that still offers a few of it’s original style features, giving it a bold, unique feel & look that really sets it apart. In fact as soon as you walk into the building, you feel its aura. Some venues just.. have it and the Werkz has it in spades.

The Penthouse

It’s a building that offers endless branding opportunities, reception areas, green rooms, cloakrooms and a dedicated events team. Don’t even get me started on the free, super-fast wifi.

The Courtyard is the center of the club, a large square room with an unmissable glass atrium. It’s strikingly rustic, with bundles of natural lighting (see: the unmissable glass atrium) and a raised bar. There’s also a sneaky motorbike, hanging plants and a big shiny disco ball. Literally what else could you want?

The Penthouse is where the big aforementioned Fashion Show took place. It’s lined on both sides with large high windows and I didn’t think grey concrete could ever look as appealing as it does on this ceiling. With the ability to hold up to 200 people, it’s perfect for photoshoots, filming, exhibitions and workshops.

The Top & Middle Floors are a couple of the most bad-ass club spaces you’ll come across. Remember Blade? With Wesley Snipes? Where all the vampires are in the club and the blood comes out the sprinklers? Well it’s like that. But without the blood or vampires. Not sure if Wesley Snipes will be there. With quality AV, separate bars and areas where you can have a little sit down and take a break (don’t act like you’ve never been there before). They have all bases covered when it comes to club nights, gigs and even private hires.

Overall – It’s bloody massive and bloody brilliant. & We’re proud to partner with them 💓
