If you are planning to hold a sample sale, you need a venue with minimum fuss that’s ready to simply set up and use, whilst still being stylish enough to match the quality of your brand. With that in mind, we think any of the following would be ideal.
Oui 2 Rooms is a multi-award winning showroom that strikes the perfect balance between being characterful enough to bring personality and charm to the space, yet enough of a blank canvas that you can really put your stamp on it and transform it to suit your own particular needs. Ground floor access makes loading and unloading easy, whilst its good central location in W1 and close to good transport links means you are well situated to try and draw potential buyers in.
15 Bateman Street has a classic shop front that leads to a deceptively spacious 2-floor venue, complete in a simple yet stylish manner. With vast experience as a commercial gallery, they have a top range custom lighting system to really show off your products at their very best, specialising in creating an immersive setting where your items are the star of the show. Found in the heart of Soho’s theatre and restaurant district, you are also in line to pull in good footfall.
The ground floor level of The Woolff Gallery benefits from great levels of natural light courtesy of the large, street-level windows, which also maximise the chances of luring in passers-by. There is also a lower-ground floor level, particularly well-suited to exhibitions. All-in-all, the total capacity allows for up to 170 guests at once, meaning plenty of space to display your products and have guests milling around without feeling too crowded. The nearest tube stop is Goodge Street, being just a few minutes’ walk away.
Canvas Studios is a blank canvas space which aims to be as flexible and accommodating as possible. Surrounded by busy streets, its Shoreditch location in East London is a prime spot to attract some of the city’s trendiest shoppers. There are 4 different studios in all, which can either be used individually or combined, depending on the amount of space you require. Shoreditch High Street, Liverpool Street and Old Street stations can all be reached within 10 minutes or less.
At the other end of the city, in the West End, you’ll find Noho Studios, one of the newest blank canvas offerings. Its neutral interior, white wall finish and high ceilings mean it can be tailored to suit your own style, but don’t worry about it lacking character, with touches like the brick arches ensuring it’s not simply your bog standard venue. Shop window space and fully brandable frontage are ideal for transforming Noho into your own pop-up shop and showing off your products to as many people as possible.
