WHAT IS GROW?
Carved out of what was once a sausage factory, Grow in Hackney Wick has been transformed into a unique, independent canal side bar, kitchen & creative space, conveniently located near Hackney Wick & Stratford Stations. Built by a small team, it operates as an experiment in ethical and sustainable business. It’s a space for music, art, conversation, community and good food where everyone is welcome.
WHY HAVE YOUR PARTY WITH US?
You won’t have another party like it this year! We’ve teamed up with Slow Fire London, local artists and musicians to bring a New Orlean’s flavour to Hackney Wick. Plus, as we are business that aims to support the local community, we pay London Living Wage and work with local artists and food partners to put on a range of community events throughout the year.
WHAT ABOUT FOOD, DRINK & ENTERTAINMENT?
Peter Bernard of Slow Fire London has converted an old ambulance into a mobile smokehouse to create a mouth-watering menu which includes; Jalapeño & Sweet Potato Corn Breads, Mardi Gras Jambalaya, Gumbo n’ Herbes, Banana Foster with Pecan Pralines. Cocktails and a range of organic and locally crafted drinks will also be served all night. On stage, we’ll have live jazz, performances and DJ’s til late, dependent on your budget and what you want from your Christmas night out.
