Nestled away in the heart of Moorgate is Morton Society, a 260 standing capacity private hire space. This is the latest addition to London-based iconic events company Camm & Hooper’s portfolio. The luxurious venue offers the perfect setting and a range of unrivalled cocktail and eating experiences to let your hair down for any occasion.
Originally home to South Place Ethical Society, the only remaining ethical society in the UK from 1793, Morton Society is a five-minute walk from Liverpool Street in the heart of London’s business hub.
The ground level entrance showcases Camm & Hooper’s bespoke ‘Booze Lab’, run by Chief Booze Engineer Patrick Hobbs. The lab is the perfect combination of Harry Potter meets Willy Wonka with an array of delectably infused beverages on display in individual Kilner jars – it’s quite a sight to see. Each jar has been infused with various ingredients including plums, rhubarb and even blue cheese (don’t knock it ’til you try it) giving every customer a unique experience with each glass. Morton Society also offers taste packages and infusion making classes for any event.
Morton Society’s luxurious underground space, The Walbrook Room, has a rich history dating back over a decade with hints of original decor. The space is perfect for sit-down dinners with mouth-watering menus from renowned Executive Head Chef Ronnie Murray. The layout of the Walbrook Room can suit any occasion. The kitchen can be exposed, giving customers the opportunity to see how their sumptuous food goes from pan to plate, or it can remain hidden with a sliding partition.
Brand new and truly unique, Morton Society’s style and glamour combined with first class hospitality services creates the perfect setting for wedding receptions, corporate events or private parties. The Walbrook Room is fully equipped with two screens and the latest audio-visual equipment. There’s even a dedicated platform for food demonstrations.
