Where to plan a cooking class in London
Reading Time: 4 minutes

Hosting or planning a cooking class is a fun and alternative way to celebrate a birthday, or bond as a group or team. It’s popular with hens, stags, corporate clients, and general foodies as a way to get a group active: they’re talk, have fun, and end up with some delicious food too. It’s a great team building experience, no matter what kind of group you’ve got.

This includes Operation Chinatown where you head out as a team, on a treasure hunt around London’s Chinatown to source your ingredients, before returning back for a fun Asian cooking class. Sounds ace, right? They have space for the more formal side of corporate events, like meetings and conferences, too. Head to their profile for more details.

Core Clapton

Core ClaptonLocation: Hackney

Check it out here: Core Clapton

The Old Parish Hall at Core Clapton is the ultimate blank canvas venue. You can do just about anything with the large, blank space provided. The venue has seen photoshoots, weddings, private parties, and as you can see above… cooking classes too! Its full catering kitchen is perfect for fitting in a group of keen-cookers, and the main hall can be set up with tables and chairs for when you are serving up your creations.

Bellavita Academy

Bellavita AcademyLocation: Aldgate
Capacity: 130 standing, 100 seated
Check it out here: Bellavita Academy

This is a bright and airy gallery-style venue, but that doesn’t mean it’s only open to exhibitions in any  way. Bellavita Academy is a really flexible space, with lots of room for you to play around with. In between its walls, it’s had its fair share of cocktail and cooking classes, as well as cheese and wine evenings and pizza-making. This London venue is super close to both Tower Bridge and Shoreditch, making it ideal for a corporate event for not only those that work nearby, but also companies from further afield.

The Store Cupboard

The Store CupboardLocation: Finsbury Park
Capacity: 100 standing, 40 seated
Check it out here: The Store Cupboard

This warehouse space in Finsbury Park is great for cooking classes, demonstrations, workshops or supper clubs, as well as other corporate events. The Store Cupboard is a diverse space, but its neat kitchen worktop and fully working kitchen makes it very popular with these types of events. The open space is lifted by all the natural light the venue has to offer, and is complemented with its rustic features.

Ginza Onodera

Ginza OnoderaLocation: St James’
Capacity: 250 standing, 128 seated
Check it out here: Ginza Onodera

Something very different to The Store Cupboard’s rustic and natural feel, Ginza Onodera offers a super cool and contemporary interior. They focus on Japanese cooking techniques: Teppanyaki, Sushi and Robata. All in all, they’ve got a very unique thing going on for a London venue, which of course we love. It’s ideal for a corporate cooking class or private dinner, and is set to impress your guests, whoever they are.
