Press day venues
Reading Time: 3 minutes

A press day is all about making a good impression, and setting the right tone for the event is key. The first and most important step in achieving this is to choose the most suitable venue. We’ve picked out a variety of our favourite spaces for press days:

White Space

white space

Location: Leicester Square
Capacity: 100 standing, 80 seated
Check it out here: White Space

High spec blank canvas space is what you’ll find here. Split into 2 individual areas, facilities include state-of-the-art integrated lighting and PA systems. Need support? Fear not, as the team are well versed in hosting successful events.

41 Portland Place

Location: Marylebone
Capacity: 350 standing, 80 seated
Check it out here: 41 Portland Place

41 Portland Place is an elegant Grade II listed townhouse in one of the city’s most popular locations. Rich in Georgian architectural detail, it is home to lots of charming period features. These sit in contrast with contemporary facilities, combining convenience with glamour.

Little Bat

Location: Highbury
Capacity: 120 standing
Check it out here: Little Bat

Little Bat is an award-winning bar and multi-purpose event space. It’s suited to smaller, more intimate gatherings. You can expect to enjoy tempting cocktails alongside seasonal canapes and bowl foods. That is, of course, if you wish to lay on catering for your guests.

Ognisko

Ognisko

Location: Knightsbridge
Capacity: 180 standing, 130 seated
Check it out here: Ognisko

Floor-to-ceiling windows ensure that Ognisko is flooded with natural light. A majestic staircase welcomes you in style and leads on to the gorgeous ballroom. Once there, you can soak up the wealth of Victorian details.

Behind the Bike Shed

Location: Shoreditch
Capacity: 400 standing, 200 seated
Check it out here: Behind the Bike Shed

This relative newcomer to the events scene sits beneath 4 redeveloped railway arches. The conversion was completed to the highest standard, without sacrificing the original features. At its core, it’s a blank canvas, providing plenty of scope for creativity.

Lockhouse

Location:
Capacity: 300 standing, 205 seated
Check it out here: Lockhouse

Full-length windows mean Lockhouse is bright and airy throughout. The venue specialises in craft beers, artisan cocktails, great coffees and delicious food. So, organising catering and refreshments is a breeze. As for the building itself, it overlooks Grand Union Canal.

Artist Residence

Location: Victoria Station
Capacity: 40 standing, 38 seated
Check it out here: Artist Residence

This is an ideal option if you want to bring a more personal approach to the hosting. Here, you can focus on one-on-one time with VIPs over a lavish dinner or a few drinks. Snug seating gathered by the fire enhances the cosy atmosphere. But, rest assured the private bar and surround sound music system are on hand if you want to liven things up a little.
