Private networking meeting spaces in restaurants and bars
Reading Time: 3 minutes

Networking is often very important – be it for forging good business links in the corporate world or simply meeting likeminded people for fun. With that in mind, it’s good to have a neutral ground to meet on, somewhere relaxed that can help break the ice and get conversation flowing; namely, a bar or restaurant.

Camino Bankside

Camino Bankside

Camino Bankside is a modern space that is filled with natural light throughout the day and softly lit for a more atmospheric and intimate vibe at night. Opening out onto a large south-facing terrace with ample seating, you can be sure to enjoy any good weather you may be lucky enough to catch. There is even a mezzanine private room for special events which you can hire if you would prefer. All in all, there’s a capacity of 160, and the building’s location benefits from close proximity to good transport links, including Southwark and London Bridge.

28 West

28 West

If you were hoping for a riverside venue with views out across the Thames then fear not, you’ve found it with 28 West. Ideal for private and corporate functions alike, this stylish lounge bar is available for table bookings, large parties and even full private hire, depending on how much space you needed, with the space adding up to offer a total capacity of 350. The interior has a fun, laid back feel and the venue itself is well connected to the rest of London, with nearby stations including Canary Wharf (10 minutes away) and Westferry (8 minutes away).

Basement Sate

Basement Sate

Found in the centre of Soho and yet offering a distinct feel of Parisian chic, Basement Sate features design-led interiors that include dark wood, exposed brickwork, sumptuous furnishings and an overall intimate feel, perfect for establishing that warm and welcoming vibe. With a great selection of food and drinks on offer and a decent capacity of 110, this is definitely a practical choice as much as it is an attractive one, and with tube stations including Leicester Square, Oxford Circus and Tottenham Court Road all just minutes away, it’s easily reached from throughout the city.

Goat

Goat

Goat is based on the popular Fulham Road in Chelsea, just 15 minutes or so from both South Kensington and Fulham Broadway stations. This DJ Bar is perfect for getting to know each other over cocktails and canapes, and has a good but still somewhat more intimate feeling capacity of 130. The bar itself, which has played host to all sorts of different events, is split-level and benefits from high ceilings and plenty of natural daylight, making the space feel bright and airy. The interior design is quaint and charming, bringing a warm feel to proceedings.
