The Driver is a unique venue in the heart of King’s Cross, and as such benefits from being so close to the tube and train station that shares the areas name. There are 4 floors here altogether and you can choose to hire them out either individually or all in one, depending on how much space you need for your particular gathering – but with a total capacity of 500, there should be more than enough room for all your friends to join the fun. The décor, both indoors and on the rooftop, is stylish and tasteful, and equally enjoyable food is available for you to sample on all floors. In terms of entertainment, the 3 DJ booths are sure to go down a storm.
The rooftop space at Bird of Smithfield has an easy-going vibe, perfect for a low-key and relaxed gathering of colleagues. No matter if the weather doesn’t hold up, there is plenty of great indoor space on offer here as well, including The Birdcage cocktail bar for up to 60 people, the 1st floor restaurant which seats 52, and the 2nd floor private room for soirees of up to 40 guests. Very well connected to the rest of the city, the likes of Barbican, Farringdon, St Paul’s and Blackfriars stations can all be reached comfortably on foot, so you needn’t worry about getting there.
