Opting for one of London’s best known venues for a Christmas party is all well and good but sometimes it can be great to go one better and opt instead for a hidden gem; equally as good but not yet descended upon by the masses, allowing you a sense of exclusivity.

The Den

For a smaller and more intimate Christmas party, this speakeasy bar in Soho is an awesome option. It’s a modern take on an old school drinking den, complete with a trendy lounge area, extensive cocktail list, and even a classic cigar boutique. London Wall

Another venue with a cosy atmosphere is London Wall Bar and Kitchen. Located next to the well-known Museum of London in Barbican, it’s another easy location to get to too. London Wall has the modern and urban feel that everyone loves so much at the moment, and can host a party for 20 to a party of 250. The venue holds a long bar, a spacious dance floor and lounge area, as well as an outside terrace if you fancy braving the outside in the winter months.

Number 90

Number 90 is a bar and kitchen found in the area of Hackney Wick, just a stone’s throw from the station that shares its name. This spacious, 450 capacity venue has a broad range of uses when it comes to events, with the hand-crafted wooden décor bringing a sense of character and charm that suits any occasion. Situated right by the canal, there is also an outdoor terrace (though with the weather we’ve come to expect in British winters, you may be more comfortable indoors!). Regardless, the high ceilings and generous floor space mean there is ample space for everyone.

This little gem is a studio based in Farringdon that overlooks the quirky, industrial-looking buildings of the area. With 2,000 square foot of open space, this bright and well-lit studio is ideal for a large number of events, whether you’re looking for a venue for workshop, a corporate event, meeting or press day.
