Few parts of London speak of sophistication and quality like Mayfair does, and so as you might expect, it has a truly enviable selection of great venues to choose from.
Private dining rooms are particularly worth note, as dinner parties can be made both casual and formal and thus suited to events for both business and pleasure. Take a look at some of our favourite venues in the Mayfair area.
Hush Mayfair is discreetly tucked away on a charming cobbled courtyard just off Bond Street, a mere few minutes’ walk from the tube station of the same name. This lovely townhouse is one of Mayfair’s best hidden gems, with a private dining room on the top floor, above the main restaurant, which has been used for everything from business lunches to engagement parties. You can expect to invite up to 100 people in all if you host your event here.
Found in the very heart of the city’s iconic West End, The Lansdowne Club is a private members club where the splendour and the 18th century meets the stylishness of the Art Deco period. Steeped in history, the various private function rooms on offer each serve as truly stunning backdrops, with beautifully ornate period features located throughout the venue. The same level of care is given to the service no matter how big of small the event may be, and there’s ample room for as many as 250 guests altogether.
If it’s something considerably more modern in feel you are looking for, Sake no Hana could be just for you, as though it is housed within a Grade II listed building, inside you will find authentic Japanese cuisine and striking contemporary décor. The work of renowned Japanese architect, Kengo Kuma, the walls are awash with bamboo, granting the space a futuristic forest vibe, making it a space unlike any other. As for getting there, Green Park ad Piccadilly Circus are among the nearest transport links.
