The Forge is a Grade II listed ironworks, one of the last surviving buildings from the great Victorian shipbuilding industry. It’s a fantastic and inspiring space, flooded with natural light and with superb acoustics. Heritage features include magnificent high windows, a soaring roof, exposed brickwork, steel girders and industrial fittings including two overhead cranes.
The architect designed recent conversion provides a 1000 sq ft, triple height exhibition/ events hall, 600 sq ft of bleacher seating which can also be used for displays, private events, creative studios, workshops and meeting rooms.
Hires of the exhibition/ events hall include moveable display units and bar, kitchen and café seating, off street parking and loading. It is outside the congestion charge.

The Forge is on the west side of the Isle of Dogs in East London. The venue is close to the river, the Thames pathway and the foot tunnel to Greenwich. Transport is good; very close to Greenwich and Canary Wharf by the DLR and with frequent riverboat services to Central London and Greenwich, a superb way to travel.
