The Space

Originally the Ladies’ Reading Room for the Library, the Upper Hall is a versatile space full of natural light.

A blank canvas, the room can be configured in a variety of ways. Hosting everything from drinks receptions and exams to conferences and music rehearsals, the Upper Hall is perfect for anyone wanting to use their imagination. The space can be hired on its own, and is also often used in conjunction with the Great Hall.

Set on the edge of the City of London, the Upper Hall is just two minutes’ walk from Liverpool Street station.
