The Space

The performing arts have a long history at Bishopsgate Institute, and we offer welcoming rehearsal spaces suited to a wide variety of art forms.

The Great Hall is an ideal location for orchestra rehearsals and sitzprobes, and the Upper Hall is popular for theatre rehearsals. The recently refurbished Studio is purpose-built for dancing, benefiting from sprung flooring, ballet bars, and mirrored walls. The Goss Room regularly hosts staging and choreography workshops. Our spaces can be hired individually, or in conjunction with each other.

Each of our rehearsal rooms can be equipped with a PA System, keyboard, and furniture on request. They also have access to changing rooms and showers.

We are proud to support the development of creative artists at all stages of their careers and offer our spaces at a discounted rate to creatives who fit our eligibility criteria.

Set on the edge of the City of London, Bishopsgate Institute is just two minutes’ walk from Liverpool Street station.
