The Space

Craft brewery and pizzeria situated canal side in Hackney Wick, London.

We love making stuff, so when it came to our own bar we went out on the scrounge with some local artists to see what materials we could find. Six weeks later, we had completed our one-of-a-kind up-cycled venue. The bar itself is made of old railway sleepers; ladders and ratchet straps serve as amazingly comfy seating, and rusty old bed springs make for eccentric light fittings. Pallet benches and scaffold plank tables sit outside next to the canal and herb gardens, and a bunch of boats are moored up for summer sun-drenched floating fun.
