The Space

Striking, stylish yet relaxed and welcoming, Art Café is The Courtauld’s new all-day restaurant and bar located on the ground floor, with its warm, vibrant and bohemian interior providing a more relaxed alternative to our Gallery settings.

Serving fresh barista coffee and with a fully stocked bar, Art Café is perfect for more informal light breakfast events and evening drinks receptions, accommodating up to 80 for a standing reception. The space is available to hire by itself or in conjunction with an out of hours private view of either our permanent or temporary exhibitions. As with all our other spaces, clients hiring Art Café also have the option to elevate their event with a guided tour from one of our Courtauld Experts - gallery highlights and thematic tours can be arranged to enable your guests to experience expert insight into key works from the Collection from our highly regarded academic community.

We can accommodate drinks reception for 100 guests and dinners for 50.
